Re: Calling all ISB PGP Applicants - (2022 Intake) Class of 2023 [#permalink]
one question, while applying for GMAT exam I was asked about my gpa and as per the table and chart given over there any thing above 60% in india was considered as 4 gpa.... so is that really true? I mean does colleges like ISB and NUS follow that table?

No, they consider the one that you mention in the application

No my question is does they follow that chart of GPA? I mean if I enter my gpa as 4 because I have scored more than 60% so technically am I right?

The GPA that you enter in the GMAC profile creation is not referred by the college rather the one that you mention in the application form. So, you are technically right but ISB doesn’t refer to GPA that you provide in the GMAC profile. Not sure about NUS

So if I apply to ISB with 4.0 gpa in my application, so it would stand out rather than percentage?

The GMAC table will not apply to your application. ISB will have their own table/conversion methods

Hi! I wanted to apply for R1 and appeared for GMAT accordingly. However I ended up scoring a 680. Could somebody please suggest whether I should apply with this score for R1 or retest and apply for R2? I know there is significant reduction in scholarship amount for R2, but at the same time I don’t want to diminish my chances at converting. Please suggest!

I don’t think there were a lot of deferrals. I don’t know the exact number but I guess it is not the number that would cause a concern for the prospective applicants.
