Guys, I am having a problem with ISB YLP admission process and status. I received a mail saying that my application was incomplete because of a document and I need to send it to them within 2 days. I sent it the very next day.

They sent a mail saying "thank you for reaching out to ISB admission team" and that they will contact me if any other info is required. My portal however showed that my application is incomplete because of the same message. They replied sending a mail asking me to send the docs again as they have not received it.

I have sent it to them again, but how can they reply to the mail with the documents an then send a mail that they have not received it? I can’t reach to them on call as I am on hold for a very long time everytime I try. I am now scared that this will affect my admission process and I don’t know what to do. Please help me out with this. Thank you

HI Robby123,

Shouldn't be an issue if you sent it to them within the stipulated time. If you don't hear back on the "email receipt" you can reply on the same email thread and ask if they need anything additionally.

A quick input: Always email any college preferably in the early working hours of 9:30-10am IST/PST/CET/GMT etc, so that your email is on top of the stack, for a quick response

Last week of September

interviews will happen from October to December. You usually get an invite before 5-7 days. Though first round of calls can start from late sept/early Oct.

what should be an ideal score for isb ylp. is 730 ideal with a decent profile?

Hi everyone, What other bschools/programs can I look for other than ISB with 730 GMAT and 2 yrs of W. Exp?

Did anyone get a confirmation saying that their application is complete after re-submitting the GMAT score report?

GMAT 730 is a great score and you would fall in the median score of all top b-schools. 2 years WE is less than avg of most B-schools. But these are only a part of your profile. Equally important are your essays where you have to convince the adcom why you are a great candidate for mba. It is advisable to talk to alumni of top b-schools to prepare your applications. Suggested to apply to IIM A/B/C, INSEAD, HEC, LBS, JUDGE, SAID, NUS. There are lots more. Go through the programs carefully and choose what best suits you.

Everyone will receive completion mail sooner or later. Please understand there are lot of applications and review takes time.

You may post a query to the admissions team in the mail provided in the website. It took me around 2 weeks to get a confirmation mail.

Shwetha99 and Queen789, there is nothing to worry. ISB will eventually reach out to both of you regarding the status of your applications. Even if something is missing or incorrect in your applications, ISB will inform you and give you a chance to fix any issue/issues. If ISB is taking a longer time to verify your applications, it doesn't necessarily mean that something is wrong with your applications. The application verification process can take longer for some than for others, so relax and forget about your ISB applications for now. Use your time and energies to work on your other priorities.
