I disagree a bit. I feel that in the online webinars, you don’t get a chance to interact with them properly. Whereas, in these meets, I saw that people were meeting the AdCom person and alumni even after the PPT and Q&A and interacting with them on a personal level. I agree that you won’t get a detailed evaluation of your profile; however, you will get some expert advice from an alumni. Just my 2 cents: it’s worth going.

B.Tech, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, New Delhi (Electrical and Electronics): 7.27 CGPA
12th, Air Force Bal Bharati School, New Delhi(Science): 80%
10th, Sophia Secondary School, Rajasthan: 8.8 CGPA

Work Experience

Analyst in Technology Consultancy at EY (Nov,2020-Present) (28 months of experience by the time class starts)

Worked on 3 different projects for clients of different sectors and different geographical locations.
Worked as a sole resource and handled the entire project alone.
Won a SPOT award for exceptional performance in the engagement
Volunteered in the Covid relief group and helped 100+ families. Received an award for the same.
Introduced a new tool to the team and got certified in it.
Organized a walking challenge with 150+ participants.

Co-founder, DarjiGal (10k followers on Instagram)

Started a apparel business on instagram.
Handled operations.
Had to close in after a few months due to scalability issues.

Created a team of 5 people to organize covid testing/relief drives during the pandemic
Collaborated with Defense research and development organisation to provide free tests and medicines to the people in the surrounding societies, especially the under-privileged.

In the application form, they have asked for work experience as on 31st march 2023, but in case someone resigns in between and his total experience changes after submitting application form, in that case what can be done ?

What is the criteria for evaluating work experience of merchant navy professionals. Since the sea time is only 50% and we are paid only for the seatiem service. I’ve joined the company anglo eastern ship management in 2016 and have been there for 6 years but my sea time sailing months is around 30 months. What should i write my work experience for isb?

Depends. Like your profile is pretty strong so a lower gmat score shall be fine but 660 is still slightly on the lower side. I have seen people with great profiles get with 650-660 score. It is a gamble and depends if you are willing to take that gamble or not.

Your essays is just one aspect of your profile, albeit an important one. You will be given a weighted average score, which will heavily be defined by (and not limited to) GMAT Score, Academics (UG College, GPA etc.), Work Experience (quantum, company, role etc.), Letter of recommendation (LOR form),Essays, Extra-curricular activities, and Awards & Achievements.

Assume the best case scenario that you will be working till the "Till Month" and mention that as Work Experience. It doesn't matter whether you changed jobs in between.
