Male 710… Overall good application n work exp…but had a bad interview… what are the chances?

Heard from a senior friend who had a bad interview like me but joined ISB last year

You can never know because the mix changes every year (and good/bad interview/application can be a very subjective thing as you might not have the right vantage point).

Silver lining is this is that we will get to know where we stand in just a week, stay positive :)

Are merit based scholarships given only on the basis of your gmat/gre score??? Or does our interview/ application also come into picture??

I read one article about a merit based scholarship. The guy had a single digit rank in CA exam, great GMAT score, and other very strong academic parameters. It depends on the number of scholarships available and the kind of people that come in the batch I guess

Scholarships are provided to only around 4% of the batch. For merit scholarships strong academic performance is a necessary condition + other add-ons (like diversity of profile etc) is what the adcom evaluates

Have a feeling that no new shortlisted mails have been sent for this weekend (unless there are people who haven't reported it).
If that's the case, I wonder if they'll release the results before the 18th, perhaps this weekend, after collating all the data?

How many students were invited for interview this year? Seems like the number was on a lower side.

Haha, consultants post a higher number every year. They post that they have gotten 100 shortlists and put 2 screenshots. That's not at all a reliable source of gauging the number.

No offence to any of the consultants present here.

I don’t know about others...Our numbers are these + more that came in later..and I don’t have a 100% track record. 89% calls so far. Also, LinkedIn allows a maximum of 9 pictures..
