Hi, Can anyone please evaluate my profile for ISB and what GMAT score I should Target. I am targeting 2nd round.

I have 3 years of experience working in Oil and Gas MNC. Completed my graduation from NIT with 9.6 CGPA. 12th percentage - 96.8 and 10th percentage - 97.4.

I have a brother who is married, and I am not. And my father is retired. Can I be considered as the sole bread winner for my family?

don’t think so

your father’s pension will be added to your family income. Brother’s salary not needed to be included.

Although you have a strong pedigree with excellent academic percentage and rich work experience with an MNC, your GMAT target should be the average GMAT score of the current PGP batch which is more than 710.

The credentials are impressive, no doubt. A lot depends on your post MBA goals (Short term and long term). Considering that your work experience is on a higher end, in comparison to the cohort - you are expected to substantiate notable examples in your essays and your interview (post shortlist). Message me for further details. I received an Admit from ISB (Class of 2023), with an experience of close to 9+ years.

I second Siddharth here. I applied in round 2 last year (Dec 2021) and received an interview invite for Feb 1st week batch (Admit received after a week from the interview). There is no clear answer but they begin their shortlisting, looking at all the parameters (Avg exp, score, academics and value to ISB community). Nothing to worry, if you have penned a nice application - you will definitely receive an interview invite.

2. Won story writing contests, academic prizes for individual subjects, trophy for the being the best writer of college, published 2 research papers

Industry: Digital and Mainline marketing

Impact: Worked on Retail, finance and FMCG brands.
Led the end to end execution of campaigns
Was the key spoc on the accounts managed
Came up with strategy/ideas/insights for campaigns managed
