Is worth applying with a score of 670 ?

Posted from my mobile device
Worth if other parts of your application is good to go. I know at least 5 people currently at ISB who have scores in the range of 650-690.

I got 650 only Q47 V34. I'm also thinking is it worth applying with this score or the effort I will put into my application can be put in GMAT to improve my score?

I have a GMAT score of 690 with 2 years of work experience. Is it worth applying at ISB PGP program?

What is the harm in applying. There are candidates who get into the program with this score. In any case, you will learn and will be better prepared for other apps.

I have asked this question in a separate post but was suggested to ask it here.

I have seen a lot of claims from people online that ISB placement reports are manufactured to look better than they are in reality. I wasn't aware of this before applying. Now that I've secured an admission, these claims are a bit worrying and I wish to gain insight into this before committing to the initial fee payment. The average CTC seems to be around ₹34 lakhs in 2022. Is this the true value? What could be the expected components of this total (Fixed component, performance bonus etc)? I know this varies by function and industry but I just want to get a general idea. Since there isn't an independent audit, this information is hard to come by. I've also seen claims that the first-year salary post-graduation is inflated by a signing bonus and that it drops significantly in the second year.
If anyone with more information could comment on this, I would greatly appreciate this.

Hi
I scored 710 in GMAT and will be giving CAT
I was confused whether to submit MDI form with CAT or GMAT since CAT is a little unpredictable( I am a CAT repeater who got 94.8%tile last year and an interview with MDI was waitlisted but not got the offer)
If anyone can help that would be great
Someone told me that even though MDI conveys that a score above 700 is fine, it unofficially needs a min of 75%tile in each of the sections of the GMAT, i.e. QA should be Q50 or Q51 and VA should be V36 & above and IR should be 7 or 8, AWA should be 5.5 or 6. If you’ve such scores, there’s no harm in applying. If not, then CAT score would be better. This is not an official statement and rumours and experiences of other people who had applied.

There’s a huge flaw in this as GMAT releases a score wise percentile but the schools(MDI & SPJIMR) hardly care as less than 2-3% of their applicants apply with a GMAT score.

Isnt it true that just international applicants can apply to mdi with gmat scores? I think I read so on their official website.

No, that is the case with the IIMs’ flagship 2 year programs and XLRI. Not with MDI.

I have a question regarding the legitimacy of the PGP degree.

I’ve been reading online that the PGP degree is not recognised in US and other countries and it can cause problems if one emigrates.

Also, ISB is not AAA credited. Is this an issue? Can anyone throw some light on this?

MananS4G, Need your opinion about this situation: I did a course from IIT Kharagpur in which I scored 77%. My academic record is good (93%, 92.4%, 9.09 CGPA). Since 77% is not a lot should I put this certification in my application or will it make a negative impact overall impact because other academic scores are good and additional one is not that good. Also, I have an agile practitioner certification (safe 4.0, but it expired just a few months back) which is globally recognized and another certification by Microsoft. Can I put these courses as well in my application in additional education section since it accepts online courses as well?
