So if the Round 2 deadline is dec 3rd, What’s the earliest one can expect the interviews to start by?

I don’t know if they speed things up during Round 2, but for R1, the deadline was 10 September and the first set of interviews only took place on Sept 30 to my recollection. By same logic, R2 interviews should start around 23rd-24th December. But that’s just a guesstimate. Guess the alums here can answer better.

Going off memory here (had applied in R1 last year), but most of the interview cities/locations for R2 last year were conducted in the first 3 weekends of Jan (after the new year weekend). And I think the application deadline date was nearly the same as this year’s R2. I think there might have been 1 or 2 locations or online that had their R2 interview invites in the last week of December itself, but I can’t recall with certainty, and if so it was just a small portion.

Last year 4th Dec was the application deadline, and first interview was on 24th Dec, this interview was online. After the new years week, city wise interviews were conducted.

In R1 this time, first interview was conducted in 3 weeks I guess, 10th was the application deadline and first round of interviews was 3 weeks later.

Going by the past trends, I would say somewhere between 2-4 weeks will be the earliest interview, ofcourse all this is pure speculation.
