Hi All,

So after waiting for around 2+ hours, they mentioned that they have raised a case for me and suggested that I contact the customer support on Monday and ask them to reschedule the test. I tried looking for the customer support number/email id on the website but was unable to find it. I am pretty sure I am not looking in the right place.

can someone help me with profile evaluation?

10th (CBSE): 10 CGPA
12th (CBSE): 87.4%
Chemical engineering from Thapar university (CGPA: 8.27)

Currently working at JPMorganChase in mid-office for US clients with 3 years of work-ex.

Achievements: one of the top rated analysts for 3 straight years. leading a team of 8, have mentored and trained multiple interns and new hires and helped them transition into the role. visited US for a 4 week rotation program.

Co-curricular: organised a food festival in college working in multiple departments such as marketing, event management, media, creativity. also a part of college’s drama club where i actively wrote the screenplay, acted and directed too. have also organized multiple events and talks while working at JPM

Haven’t yet given GMAT but mock score is 625, planning to apply in R2

Hi hreyhaan, You have a really good work profile, wherein you have been top rated performer in your function. There is leadership experience with you as team lead and slight international exposure. Extra curricular are also decent to showcase a well rounded personality.
The academic marks and college are okayish. But the competition among people with 3-4 years work ex and in analyst role with engineering background is higher than usual. Although you have enough differentiation point, still target onward of 675 to be more comfortable while applying. Best Wishes.

Extra curricular: I am a marathon runner and have completed a half marathon and training for my full marathon. I am also a volunteer in the organizing committee of running events for the past 2 years.

My recommenders would be an alumni from IE business school working as chief business officer and another would be an alumni from IIM Bangalore working as a vice President.

Is my profile okay to get shortlisted in round 2 of ISB and also in ABC IIMs? What should be my target GMAT score?

Many things will depend on your GMAT score

For ISB your candidature seems fitting

I don’t think you are eligible for IIM B and C

IIM A will shortish your (subjected to GMAT score) for interview but conversion may not be easy.

Hi everyone! For anyone who has given gmac official mocks 3-6- I felt the second time I gave it after resetting, the pool of questions was easier- did anyone else also notice their scores inflated if the mocks are reset and given for the second time?

Is it possible that you got some repeat questions in your second time, making the tests seem easier?

Hi everyone, I'm new to GMAT preparation and I'm not sure where to start and what to follow can anyone please guide me which coaching, platform or videos i should refer to for the preparation!!

Why not give a free official mock at mba.com? Perhaps you are already at a level where you do not need any coaching.

In the meantime, you might want to watch this video to quickly get up to speed with the pattern and the format of the exam.

Hi, I understand that there is no safe score for ISB, but what score must a engineer and IT work experience applicant target? Assuming avarage work-ex and extracurriculars

This is very unfortunate. If this was ISB R3 and you were appearing in GMAT just before the R3 application deadline, these "technical issues" at the test center could have cost you an entire year

Also, I strictly advise against the test takers keeping an eye on difficulty level while taking test...

Take test like it’s the last test of your life.. do you best... don’t judge the test itself till it’s over...
