You do have realistic chance at all target schools with a GMAT score in excess of 685.
I think you need to work on GMAT at first and then see how the you application decisions take shape.
Last year I have had candidates from BCN who converted all indian schools like IIM A|B|C and ISB and also candidate who converted ISB with just 625 in R3
If you want to take time and apply next year then you have everything to gain ie. Better Experience, Score, confidence, and Money 😛
So no rush... however you would be a good candidate even if you apply to ISB this year. You would be a very competitive candidate.

Hi, Im 24 M
10th-90%
12th - 86%
UG -9.6
uni- tier 2 pvt university Btech cse
gmat - 685
Work ex - will complete 30months around march 2027
* During college was one of the founding members of their debating society, went to serve as the treasurer and the secretary for it
The society had an active member count of 300+
Organised regular debates/events and mentored over 600 students in parliamentary debating for competitions all over north india.
* Co founded a startup while in college, bootstrapped , profitable making real revenue from students. Raised a 5lakh rupee grant from Meity Indian govt.
Finished in top 10 uni startups in north region for tie india.
Represented college for NAAC inspection with my startup.
* Post college joined a product company with 70% global market share in travel B2B space.
- working for their midmarket CRS system serving more than 20k hotels globally
- ownership for implementation of loyalty program between NZ airlines and quest hotels.
- Migration activities to Kafka
- complete ownership of Reporting where i was directly dealing with hotel chain representatives to solve their data issues and providing them tailored data required by them.
- Developed internal AI solution for Reporting which cuts turn around time by 90% and frees up dev bandwidth. Now this has been taken up as a product wide initiative.
- Worked on ai solutions for improving observability and RCA for incidents.
- Youngest on my team but taking knowledge sharing sessions for my team on ai implementations i’ve undertaken .
Extra curricular idk if to include these or not
- Active part of CSR activities with my company, involved in claim back footpaths movement in Blr.
- Part of Company’s football team, finished 2nd with my team in internal football tournament.
Let me know if i have chance this year given i tailor my essays well
