Same here. Busy week for the adcom!

Also the fact that the same people keep changing makes me think once again its borderline people.
I will take that as a positive thing. My application is not a straight reject, if they are spending time discussing it.

Mine changed from 10/8 to 12/8, to 12/9. All times after I've signed in to look.

This was definitely an interesting way to start my day.

I'm less than 740 and my date still has not changed since 11/18.

A mild observation: folks with >740 have not seen their date change to any December date, on the other hand folks with <740 or with waivers are seeing December dates.

Seems decision for high scorers was already made in November and now adcomms are coming around for borderline cases.

Is there anyone exception to the above observation ?

I have a 740 and my application was updated today

The theory about the date changing every time they access our online app makes sense. I've had two support letters sent by alumnus, and the date has changed the day after for both cases (which is also news, since it could mean they actually take them into account)!

Anyhow, the over speculation makes the wait seem shorter... :-D

Ross applicants just got an e-mail saying our apps have been updated with our decisions, but we can't look at them until the 19th. Kellogg is probably going in and updating decisions as well, so I would guess everyone will see a date change soon.

That was my initial thought. But that does not explain multiple updates on the video essay.
I don't think they need to open up an application multiple times to update the decision.

I don't think they need to open up an application multiple times to update the decision.

My theory is that they have split candidates into the three pools (accepted, rejected, waitlist) and as new candidates are added to their respective pool, the date on the video changes for the pool as a whole.

If this is correct, more and more people should see their dates converge.

I was thinking something along these lines. Somehow apps are connected, or widespread updates to the application system are being made to whole groups at once, possibly multiple times.

In the past, didn't accepted applicants status change after those who were dinged/wait-listed?

On their website (i.e. the general MBA website)--
DECISION NOTIFICATIONS
Once our decisions are made, we will email you a link to your application status page where you can learn of your acceptance status. Due to confidentiality constraints, we cannot release your decision over the phone.

The note above is weird since I thought they always called those who were accepted.

So is this a good or bad sign that dates are updated?

I might have missed this in the 40 pages of discussion. But has anyone asked the admissions committee what exactly the date changes mean? Or how often they review the videos when reviewing the application?

That would take out all the fun in this forum wouldn't it?

Hah, i think i read that someone had contacted them about it and that they said it was a glitch in the system.
