Dont worry bro! A couple of days ago when I did my video essays, I felt that it was a disaster. I searched on web to know how much importance they give to this part. Looks like we all get a second chance in the form of interview. Interview is not by invitation but for everyone. Don't judge yourself harshly. Has anyone else gotten an interview yet? I just got an email yesterday with my interviewer details and asked to schedule something within the next two weeks...I did NOT realize it would be this soon after we submit!

As a R1 admit, I think I need to mention a couple of things:
1. Video essay is only 1 of the many different things that the adcoms will take into consideration. Do not spend too much time on analyzing how did your video essay go. It is a 1 minute thing, wherein Kellogg wants to see if you can talk for 1 minute using coherent sentences or can you provide your point of view on the topic at hand for 1 minute. Again, 1 minute is not much wrt time given but try to do your best. I also felt my 1st question could have been a lot better (did not tie in the answer to this question to how Kellogg will help me develop that personality trait but still got in!). As for my 2nd question, I knew it would be a why Kellogg, ST/LT goals etc type of question so didnt even wait for the timer to start and I started to ramble on with my answer (not a good strategy though!). Listen to the question and try to adapt. Finally, video essays are not going to be make or break for the applicants.
2. Interviews are sent out to MOST and not all as is evident from some people on GMATCLUB getting interview waivers. Kellogg sends out waivers initially to people who are not matched with an alum interviewer for off campus interviews. Waivers are by no means a direct ding as there were a couple of instances in R1 of people with waivers who ended up getting invited for an interview later in the process. All interviews MUST be completed by 27 Feb 2016 (mentioned in your application submission confirmation email).
Hope this clears some of the doubts.
