But in my experience, it is better to give the test at the centre itself
Much less hassle, because of proctoring and you have to get a whiteboard and other supplies
Atleast that’s the reason I chose to give the GMAT at the test centre… I am not sure if it is different for GRE
Ah I see...
For GRE too it is the same

Hi! Great question, happy to share some thoughts on Kellogg's MMM vs FT MBA.

MMM -
Pros: There’s a strong focus on design thinking, innovation, and user-centric strategy, and therefore it’s a great fit for product management, innovation consulting, or leadership roles in design-forward companies (like Apple, IDEO, Amazon).
Cons: It’s slightly more niche and may not add much value if you’re focused solely on traditional finance or consulting. The tuition and workload are also higher due to it being a dual degree program.

Full-Time MBA (at any top B-school):
Pros: Broader brand recognition across all industries and functions. Some schools offer a very flexible curriculum (unlike MMM), allowing deep dives into specific areas like finance, ops, marketing, etc. You will potentially also have access to a wider alumni network depending on the school. And then, naturally, duration is shorter and and cheaper if you're comparing to dual-degree options. If you're aiming for traditional roles in MBB consulting, IB, or corp dev, a standard FT MBA will be more efficient.
Cons: Generally not much focus on design or product innovation unless you customize your experience through electives, clubs etc.

Would love to hear what others are thinking too!

That’s nicely put together. What I am getting out of this is that for someone who plans to get into start up eco systems MMM might teach you more about building great products from the onset. While MBA would still hold its value. And MMM is non tech friendly as well from what I gathered. However it will will still allow you to similar scope for regular mba roles. Have I captured it right ?

Exactly! The MMM doesn’t limit you, you can still pursue consulting, general management, or corporate roles just like your peers in the traditional MBA track but it's just a somewhat roundabout way of getting into those roles versus an MBA program. The more MMM centric roles will be something like founder, product manager, or growth lead.
