Hey everyone! I’m @m7runner and I’m super excited to be your Kellogg Moderator this cycle!

A bit about me:
- Like many of you, I’m applying to Kellogg this season
- I have a background in consulting, startups, and sports tech
- My post-MBA goals are to get right back in Product Management or Strategy in tech/fitness.
- A fun fact? I’m a long-distance runner and LOVE (can’t emphasize this enough!) endurance sports!

I’ll do my best to:
- Share key school updates, deadlines, and Kellogg events.
- Keeping things fun and motivated here on the group.

Do you mind sharing your insights on how Kellogg can better equip me with the right skill set and network to achieve this?

Love this question! I think Kellogg has a couple of ways to support what you’re aiming for.
→ For example, the Healthcare Club is pretty active and indulges across all touchpoints of the healthcare industry (if I’m not mistaken, consumer wellness as well).

You may want to explore the Kellogg Healthcare Conference - a great opportunity for folks like us to network with folks, startups, and VCs in the space. I believe this happens in the 3rd or 4th week of January every year.

Academically, there are generic core and elective classes that may supplement our goals - you can read them up on the Kellogg website.

Just wanted to check my suitability for the Kellogg 1Y/2Y MBA Program (honestly confused between the 2)

GMAT FE: 705
Work Ex: 3 years in ZS Associates, on GenAI projects for multiple pharma companies like AZ etc. Led multiple teams and participated in hiring for ZS. Won the Project Champion Award this year.
CGPA: 8.18, Mettalurgical and Material Engineering from Jadavpur University, Represented JU in Hult Prize Tokyo Regionals 2020, Chairperson at IEEE JU Student Branch, Head of events at tech-fest
XII: 97.25%
X: 97%

The tool’s algorithm keeps updating based on admit data and could give you sense of where you stand. Of course, you must take this with a pinch of salt as with the uncertainty around how adcoms admit potential candidates.

Hey, Kellogg MBA vs Kellogg MMM which is more competitive to get into? And what does Kellogg expect different from the applicants applying for MMM?

And I understand the MBA itself is very challenging with all the coursework, Is it manageable to complete the MS course requirements in the same 2 years?

I remember coming across an archived GMAT Club forum discussion where a user mentioned the competitiveness of getting an admit into either is on an equal footing. However, it might worthy to networking with current students or recent alumni from the MMM program to check if it’s still the same. Let me see if I can get a hang of this link.

Regarding the second question, a strong rationale to apply for the MMM program would be key.

So pretty subjective to define challenging.

The traditional MBA program is about 20 course units, while the MMM is about 26 course units. But you must note that the MMM course starts early (around mid-June I think), while the traditional MBA would start around September.
