My application page now has a thing saying to submit my video essay, when I click it says 2016 video essay... Either they glitched their new app release, or that's their way of telling me to try again next year lol

Haha, I got that too. Maybe they are going to do a "King of the Hill" video essay competition for the last couple of spots :-D

Out of curiosity, for those of you still on the WL, what are your plans going into the summer?

Are you going to continue on with enrollment in other programs? Are you still holding off committing to other programs? At what point do you think you'll be "too far" along with "plan B" that you wouldn't be able to go to Kellogg even if they admitted you?

I applied to Foster in R2, and my deposit deadline was before the Kellogg notification date. That made staying on the waitlist easy; I haven't had to make any other deposits since. I've been committed to Foster for awhile, but I've remained on the Kellogg (and Fuqua) waitlist "just in case", since I haven't moved or signed an apartment lease yet.

I'm very satisfied with my decision to attend Foster, and an acceptance call from Kellogg would give me a tough decision. At this point, I'm staying on the WL just to see what happens, even though nothing probably will.

I am currently waiting it out/providing periodic updates. I've put down a deposit at McCombs, in case Kellogg doesn't work out, but hoping that I know one way or the other by the end of this month (if nothing else, so that I stop constantly checking my email/looking for missed calls from Evanston on my phone).

As far as too far, it isn't there quite yet (though it is getting costly with all the deposits for tuition, trips, etc.). I would guess that end of July/beginning of August will be the cutoff, as that is when I need to get an apartment/orientation starts. I feel bad for whomever is on the UT waitlist and for taking up scholarships if I end up at Kellogg, but at the same time, I guess it's all part of the game.

I applied to a pretty small number of schools this round and I don't need to sign a lease until September so I am actually able to up and move at any point this summer (within reason). Always next year too...

Have any international waitlisters heard anything or spoken to admissions recently? Starting to wonder if admittance is even possible at this stage considering visas etc!

If it's any reassurance, and I know it might well be since it's an isolated case, upon receiving my I-90, I got my visa approved and stamped within a week or so.

Context:
- I'm Singaporean. Super easy to get a US visa
- I picked up my I-90 from Kellogg when I attended admitted students weekend (DAK). Receiving your I-90 could take a week or more after submission of your I-20 and relevant documents.

If it helps, I needed the following documents for submission, so if you think you want to be prepared ahead of time, then prepare these:
- Bank statements or payslips or financial documents showing ability to pay for MBA
- Photocopy of passport
- Sponsor letters if any

Hope this is helpful in some small way. I can relate to the anxiety everyone's feeling. I went through the admissions process too after all.

Just had a call with Kate Smith. Essentially the class is full for full time and they're glad to transfer my app to part time. I assume that's a part time offer. I am local to Chicago, so maybe some others that are in the area will get the same call. I'll definitely consider it, may end up being better in the long run! Anyway figured I'd pass along the news here

I wish they would just provide us with more information, give us WL managers, etc. I have heard nothing from kellogg besides my 3 click here to stay on the WL letters, and when I called they weren't willing to provide any new information over the phone. I added a WL update that says i'm willing to commit at a moment's notice if a spot opens up, but not expecting much.

Just received a call from Christine Mayer.
She said the class is basically full but they expect some places to open up in the coming weeks.
Asked if I had any updates to my application and any deadlines they should be aware of.

Here's hoping this is a positive sign!!

Very nice. Kate Smith had told me they didn't expect movement (as of Monday), but hopefully Christine is more spot on :)
Best of luck, are you local to Chicago by chance?
