Welcome newly admitted MBAs! In Round 1, we were informed of our application decision on or just before 22 Nov 2017, and received the welcome email a week later on 29 Nov. The welcome email contains all the detail to get us started: unique login information for the online portal which contains a wealth of information, the Facebook link for our MBA2020 group, etc. While we wait for your welcome email, ask any questions or air any thoughts on this forum, and I'll do my best to respond.

Hey Shoro. My name is Rahul. I got accepted to LBS in Round 2. Very excited about it. But I must say I am slightly concerned by the Conditional term mentioned in the Terms and Conditions agreement. What are the chances of getting a Conditional offer? I am Captain sailing in Merchant Navy and currently onboard my ship. I have a 710 on my GMAT. I hope they dont ask me to give that again as it might become an issue for me to get down. Any insight would be helpful.

I'm applying for round 4 - anyone else?

Yes, it's crazy late, but I do have a UK passport and therefore no visa issues to worry about.

Anyone know why LBS is low on female students compared to top USA schools? Is it is a pipeline issue ie. not enough female applicants with good enough profiles? Or more that many US schools are doing some pretty strong affirmative action and disproportionally admit female applicants, and LBS is not, or not able to?

(I don't particularly care, no issues being in a male-heavy class TBH, just curious)

Hey Tinyinthedesert! GO ahead and apply :) I'm not sure why LBS doesn't have that many women. But I know that they are working towards increasing female % (which is a good thing). I applied in R3 and now prepping for my interview/video questions. Super nervous about the video part (and interview too, to be honest). If anyone wants to share their video questions experience, I'd love to talk to them.
