Alright who's ready to hit submit?

In. LBS is my second application, after HBS :?

Is it just me that just after hitting submit, I felt that my essay is stupid :hurt:

LBS's portal made me not to know whether I attached the right CV or essay or not

" If you know any London Business School Alumni or Students, please give their names, graduating class and tell us how you know them. "

Has anyone mentioned the name of the current students that you might have contacted to better understand the LBS curriculum?

If I don't know LBS alumni or students in person, would stating LinkedIn connections help? To everyone who applied, how did you answer this question? I find it tricky because I see the emphasis on LBS (or international) connection many times and feel like it may be quite important:
1. Do you have a recommendation from LBS?
2. State your LBS connections
3 Describe.....international experience

1. The recommendation requires specifically the alumni have to know you for a long period.
2. You can connect several alumni through linkedin and mention here, just to let they know that you have done your homework
3. It will be good if you have experience living in other countries. If not, mention experience of working/meeting foreigners in your countries, your traveling experience.

Anyway, they are just additionals. My impression of meeting LBS admission/recruitment team that they are not so picky for "X factors". When I asked I should apply round 1 or round 2... they only asked me back what is my GMAT score...

Would LBS let the applicant know they have been shortlisted for interview as and when it is done, or will the school wait till 11 Oct and send the results to all at one go?

I visited the school last week, and they said, no, they don't release any results before the 11th.

I submitted on the 1st of September, so the wait has already been excruciating :-/

Based on last year and last to last year's trend, the emails will be sent at one go at 6PM GMT on 11 Oct 2018
Which means its 15 Days, 11 Hours, 02 Minutes and 34 Seconds to go.

I dont have too many hopes though after seeing the kind of admits into LBS!
Its crazy for Indians now.
But im still nervous.

At the risk of sounding like a pr**k, I agree with gmatinsead2018. Im Indian too, and the competition is real.

As an aside - I now live in Singapore but hold an Indian passport. Do you guys reckon I'd be clubbed into Indian /male/engineer or Singapore /male /engineer?

Indian passport = Indian.
Singaporean Passport = Singaporean
Dual Passport = Whatever you show as your first nationality.

So am I and I have a 700. I know 700 is downright impossible to get in with but seeing people with 770 fret is surprising.

You'll probably still be clubbed into the Indian bucket but the living abroad will be a plus - at least that's what I'm telling myself
