The matching process with alumni to conduct the interview can take up to two weeks.

This leaves ambiguity regarding the exact interview dates. It would be great to have a session sooner rather than later.

Hi nskytraverler,

LBS will email your recommenders in the next few days to confirm if they have indeed written the recommendation letter. Your recommenders just need to reply to the email in maybe one line that they in fact have. It's a fairly quick process.

Hi everyone!
I haven't heard back from neither LBS, which shared quite a few invites post 9th nor Rotman, which is known to share invites quite soon if interested. The wait is not ideal, and instead of checking my email every 60 minutes (:|), I'm wondering whether there is anything I can do in the meantime - reach out to Adcom folks, talk to alums for example to get clarity on my chances. What do you guys think?

How are you guys managing with the stressful waiting period?

Hi everyone!

I just realized that I got my interview invite and it went directly to spam, for this reason I wasn't able to attend the information session with the Regional Manager (Latin America, Africa, Middle East). Could anyone who did attend please share some of the insights, comments and additional information they learned from the meeting? T_T I greatly appreciate it.

The honest answer is that if you read everything else carefully and google "LBS MBA interview" for 5 minutes, there wasn't anything critical you would have learned from the session.

A few discussions and questions around COVID with the main answer being "we are hoping to be as back in the classroom as possible, but realistically, who knows?", which I would argue is a fair enough answer!
Elizabeth from LBS seemed very positive regarding their experience with a mixed zoom vs room model this year.

Probably most importantly, it became pretty clear that LBS are not keen to grant deferrals around COVID. This too I would argue is fair enough! We applied during the pandemic, we all knew the risks and the likely compromises we would need to make.
