Hello guys

Congrats to those got in and good luck to those waiting.

Anyone is considering to apply to R3? Is the chances very low in R3?

I am Chinese raised in UK (not sure which cohort I would be in?)

Hi Justin123456,

Welcome to GMATCLUB! I have definitely seen many applicants (Even from the competitive pool) get accepted in round 3 and also round 4. If you feel your application will be the strongest in round 3 you should definitely apply in that round. Unlike many US schools, LBS definitely has enough spots in the finals rounds as well.

Hope this helps. All the best!

LBS application might look deceptively easy and short, with just one required and one optional essay.

As an admission consultant, I have seen several students getting misled by the essay section. However, this application is long and extensive and requires significant time, thought, and effort. Therefore, for the benefit of prospective applicants, I am posting some of the other application questions / essays that you need to answer :).

Employment: (for every role)
1. Tell us about your responsibilities. Describe your day-to-day role, details of any clients you work with/for, the level/title of the person you report to, the size of budget for which you are directly responsible and the number of people in your team. (400 words max for current job)
2. Reason for taking on this role
3. Reason for leaving this job

Academic:
1. List any academic honours, award, or scholarships previously received
2. Do you feel that your academic performance so far gives an accurate indication of your potential for success on the programme? If so, why? If not, why not?

International:
Please tell us your most significant international experiences to date. (100 words max)

Extracurriculars:
Tell us about your main interests and activities in your free time. (400 words max)

About LBS & MBA decisions:
1. How did you first hear about London Business School? (Max 200 characters)
2. How did you first hear about this programme?
3. Have you attended an event on or off campus, or online, where you met with representatives from the school? If yes, please tell us when, where and who you met.
4. We encourage applicants to take into consideration the impact of study on family and friends. Who have you discussed your plans with and what was the response? (300 words max)
5. If you know any London Business School Alumni or Students, please give their names, graduating class and tell us how you know them. (300 words max)
6. Have you applied to other business schools? Which other schools have you applied to?

Not me. Apparently, they're sent in batches and can be sent as late as 1730 UK time. So I wouldn't hold my breath.
