I have 12years of total work experience, 2 yrs experience as a co-founder of an early stage startup, avg gpa, I have done good amount of co-curricular activities both during my undergrad years and at work. I also write and have published a couple of short fiction pieces.
I am an Indian female.
Haffun - Have you taken the GMAT/ GRE? Would like to understand your profile/ professional arc, post-MBA goals and extracurricular activities (ECs) better to advise.
Besides the test score, here's some broad angles to keep in mind:
1. Picking up (more) professional projects/ tasks which can showcase transferrable skills to your post-MBA goals. This can indicate proactiveness, and help you gain clarity on how exactly the MBA can/ would help - angles that AdCom's value.
2. Networking with folks in your post-MBA target roles. This can help research the program better, and have a strong narrative in the application.
3. Showing consistency in ECs e.g. getting more involved in such activities, and having an impact. If some of these can be linked to existing clubs/ themes at LBS, even better.
