Does anyone encountered any payment issue? I failed to pay multiple times with different cards from their payment portal. I finally did a direct bank transfer, however my payment status is still "not paid"

How much gpa is 7.3 on a 4 point scale?

And are chances reduced due to low gpa?

No need to worry about this. You’re eligible and that’s enough.

Your academic is just a part of your profile. Focus on overall profile.

Hi @Swayamsanghvi , You can mitigate this with a high GMAT score and your overall story including your leadership skills, extracurricular involvement and certifications. Please feel free to take a look at this BLOG.

Hi bd020008,

the IELTS score is valid for two years from the test date. Schools typically require the score to be valid at the time of submission, so it doesn't really matter if it's expired by the time classes start.

I hope this helps.

Is international work experience necessary for LBS?

International experience is not necessary for LBS, but pretty similar to INSEAD, they do want to see international orientation. It helps if you have worked in global teams and can show how that experience has enriched you / how you have grown because of it.

They do ask a short 100 word essay on your international experiences, but other than that, you can always intersperse it in the resume, job description, main essays and recommendations

Is international work experience necessary for LBS?
Hi @Shashankdogra16 ! While international work experience is not a strict requirement for the LBS MBA program, it aligns well with the school’s core values of diversity, global perspective, and leadership. LBS values candidates who demonstrate leadership potential, intellectual ability, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment. If your experience is primarily domestic, focus on how it has exposed you to global challenges, cross-border collaboration, or working with diverse teams. Demonstrating a global mindset and how you can contribute to LBS’s diverse community will strengthen your application. Good luck!

Sounds like a rhetorical answer. Doesn’t every business school want this? Especially the European ones?

It’s the same as when people ask "I have a low gmat score. Do I have any chance" and then you guys say "Although your gmat score is on the lower side bla bla. The business schools view profile holistically and you can balance it factors like high GPA strong leadership bla bla bla.

Hi Shashankdogra16,

just to add to what has already been shared, international experience is not limited to professional settings. It can also include, for example, growing up outside your home country (e.g. because of your parents' jobs), being raised in a multicultural environment, studying abroad, traveling internationally frequently... or any other experiences that have exposed you to different cultures and perspectives.

What matters most is how you demonstrate a global mindset and how these experiences have shaped your ability to excel in diverse environments. Whether it comes from work, education, or personal experiences, business schools really value this adaptability and perspective.

I hope this helps!
