No interview invite for me, yet. Still hopeful but really anxious and worried. The admissions rep had informed me that the school will be sending out interview invitations till 18th, which although hard to believe, I want to believe that guy.

FROM Mccombs(Texas Austin) Admissions Blog: Full-Time MBA Admissions: Round 1 Decision Update & Round 2 Deadline Approaching
Full-Time MBA application deadline is quickly approaching, I wanted to share some thoughts with all of you.

We are excited to have kicked off the admissions cycle with a very strong Full-Time MBA Round 1 that saw an increase in both the quantity and quality of applications! For Round 1, we have received over 700 applications from 40+ countries. As we conclude the review of our first round, I also wanted to let you know that we are on track to release admissions decisions by December 18th.  For these applicants, mark your calendar for February 7th, as this is the date for our Texas Saturday Event for Admitted Students right here in Austin. More info on this highly-anticipated event will be available soon!

I interviewed in November.

A lot of times in my life I was completely useless. However, these waiting days are unique. I am fighting few of the most random questions!

What's the purpose of my life if I don't get in my MBA program :?:

I am dying to quit my job, which I will IF I GET INTO my school. But what if I don't? :( What will I do with this job that I despise.

It would be such a social embarrassment if I don't get in, as I had set myself a lofty goal

Do I even I belong with these other accomplished MBA students. They are exceptionally good - they must be made in some spaceship far away from me!

I am dying sitting here, ruminating my possible future - oh, well, I hope I have one!

I need somebody to just listen to my rants, just listen, but sadly there is nobody. :cry:

I have read this thread multiple times, and I keep coming back. I don't know what else to do.

I am at my office right now, and just don't feel like doing anything. And Yes, I am literally not doing anything!

it's Friday morning in Asia. I tell you guys, what will happen will happen no matter what.
I'm guessing the results are out. we did all we could.. just let the decision date come and we'll know if we are in or not :)

Right now it's 3:30 am in California. Yesterday it flooded in the San Francisco Bay Area. How do these two things correlate, you may ask. They both are in my mind for no reason :wall ; just like it has been raining for over one and an half days now in the Bay Area.

These thoughts are playing vital role in mind as they eschew the MBA admission thoughts. I will let them sit in my brain a little more :drunk

On the flip side, I was ruminating that all of us are equally deserving, if not more or less, to get into this MBA program that we all are vying for :circle . We all have still been supporting each other to a good extent. However, the human psychology clear demonstrates that humans are competitive when it comes to primal need to win. I must congrats all of us comrades, who have bestowed their guidance and positive reflection to others in this forum, as it depicts that all of us one big collaborative group - an attribute much desired and prized in most elite MBA programs. :wave

I congratulate y'all on this marvelous display of humanity, love, and togetherness. And my rant goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on ... :band

Now, lets play laser tag :plasma and chuck some beers :beer

I interviewed on 29th of October with RM. I didn't think twice before scheduling my interview in Mumbai just to meet RM in person, even though I was in a different country just the day before.
