There are probably many reasons for which one couldn't be selected, even after the screening call and everything. Just curious why they didn't send the rejects yet if the invites were sent.

to those haven't got anything from adcom: Be positive! I know endless waiting is uncomfortable. However, that also means you are still in the game!! So, just go back to normal life and pay just a little bit attention on your mailbox. Maybe in the near future, an invitation will arrive. Cheers!!

I agree with fourleaf. As I shared before, MIT will send invitations throughout the month of January. Until now, this has been true. That’s why, try to be calm and patient.

I guess all R2 applicants will be interviewed by the end of this month. Further decisions is scheduled to be announced on Feb 14 this year. So, if everything goes well, unlike the extension application deadline, I don't think there will be many discussion here. I believe the adcom is professionalism enough to handle well the seat issues.
