MBAPrepCoach This is truly remarkable and insightful. You’ve captured the core of what the admissions committee seeks. Could you provide feedback on the interview process and offer advice on how to excel in a way that leaves a lasting impression on the committee?
Hi - what I put in the post on 10/29 is what she said she was seeking in an interview (Donna Levenson) so that is a pretty good way to approach the interview. They are backward looking so make sure to have stories to share to back up your claims for alignment with each thing she mentioned. I ran across this quote she said a couple years ago
"At the end of the day, it’s all about impact. What impact has an applicant made on a group, an organization, or the company they work for? This is really what we’re trying to assess. The more significant the impact, the better. For us, leadership is embodied by a candidate’s ability to influence and convince others in a constructive, meaningful, and respectful way. While the term ‘vision’ isn’t something that we use very much, we are a mission-driven school. Our mission is concerned with tackling the world’s biggest problems. So, to the extent that a candidate shares in our mission, this shows vision because it’s about looking forward and improving the state of the world."
Many overlook considering how their history/stories align with their mission - make sure to do that
