CatInBoots,
Davide93, Can you briefly tell us about your profiles?
Hi all, sure.
I am Indian, did my Bcom Honors, and then have been working for 4 years in India itself- a couple of years in audit (Big 4), and then in marketing analytics (not a very big company, but with a significant presence in Singapore as well).
I also have a lot of social work experience across different causes. 710 in GMAT.
I applied in R1 and heard back very late (after 3 months), but then had the interview and heard back within 2 weeks. I have also been awarded the NUS MBA achiever scholarship.
As for the interview, I felt it to be very conversational, and unlike other schools, there were questions related to trends in my current industry and future industry.
My tips would be to be absolutely thorough about your profile and goals, speak to alumni so that you have some good pieces of info that you can use in the interview and finally to be at ease - they like you, you just need to show them that you will be a good fit in the school.
Also don’t be disheartened if you don’t receive an invite for a loooong time (cuz I was after a point lol). It’s not over till it’s over. All the very best everyone, and do not hesitate to reach out to me if you want to ask any other questions!
