Optional Essays only exits for below mentioned things - 1)Low GPA 2)Gaps in Academics / Profession 3)Recommenders choice - in case they don’t have a professional email id or if your choice was unconventional etc 4) Low GMAT ( again you can apply for a waiver in that case if you are eligible ) Don’t treat this like an essay and be very direct with what you wanna convey. Most important, it’s not mandatory , avoid it completely if you don’t need one.
