I would like to know from the community here, what are the major differences between Oxford and Cambridge with respect to the MBA from your research? I do understand that class size is different.

Hi Everyone, I would want to know your views regarding the applications preference. Is LBS preferred over cambridge and oxford? and how is it viewed by employers? Will the employer’s first preference is usually LBS?
If anyone has any idea do respond and help. Thanks.
Very difficult to answer your question with the information you provided. Is LBS preferred over Oxbridge by whom? LBS’ MBA is considered as a tier higher than both, but doesn’t guarantee a job in any industry. Your previous work experience, interview performance and future industry aspirations will play a huge role for post-MBA roles too.
I would say depending on what you want to do post MBA, MBB firms recruit more from LBS than Oxbridge. As a brand name, Oxbridge is more renowned than LBS globally. Remember Oxbridge MBA is marketed as Oxford MBA / Cambridge MBA as opposed to Said MBA / Judge MBA.
Thank you both of you. Currently Im working financial reporting and plan to shift my job profile from to Venture capital / Corporate Finance or Private Equity. Considering my goal is finance I presume LBS would give me more opportunities than the other two.

Cambridge actually places well into PE and VC from memory. They are very competitive roles however, since your previous work experience matters a lot. I’ve also heard that mentioning PE/VC in your application can be a red flag to AdComs.
Best bet would be to compare the employment reports from all three schools and reach out to alums who successfully got the post-MBA roles you seek
