Calling all Rice Jones FT MBA Applicants: (2021 Intake) Class of 2023

I have not received the community invite yet, I gave my video assessment on 29th

Businessconquerer, would you be able to help me connect with Jones AdCom? We have been trying to reach them to invite them for MBA spotlight Fair. But we can’t get a reply 😢😢😢 there is NO cost for them to participate 🤷‍♂️

would you be able to forward them an email? Harvard and Stanford and Wharton are participating, so is Fuqua and Ross. But we cannot get a reply from Jones? Seems like an odd picture. Maybe we have the wrong contact 😩

Okay, Nikhil already has my Rice email. I can try from my end.

Joe soto kinda knows me now. I'm "that guy" who stays till 9:30 PM every night and comes on campus at 7 AM.

To Jones applicants,
One of my ex-clients, then business partner and now friend (boy am I unprofessional)- had an interview invite from Jones that went into Junk mail. So be sure to check it for interview invitations and beyond.

Any thoughts/ anyone currently in the Professional MBA program?

I was recently accepted,

I am 32 years old, entrepreneur in Energy & RE/ Construction (I know it is a different background than most).
I have read alot (visited the campus and heard about the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship), which is a big pull for me; especially as I try to expand my business and secure Venture Capital/ outside funding and a strong network in Houston (all my business is local/ across the state).
I saw that the acceptance rate is generally 2x (65% vs the 35-40% for full time).
Understanding that as a PMBA you will be on campus and have the same access to all the resources the full time students do, with the exception of the internship opp; what are your thoughts?
Is it worth the money, the time pursuing if my goals are to continue my current business?
I am currently (personally) debt free, I went to undergrad on a full scholarship and have been out of school for 10 or so years, graduated 2 years early from Tulane.
Appreciate the thoughts, especially those that are current Rice MBA students and their experiences.
