Just curious..did anyone from the west coast get an invite? All the invites seem to be for east and midwest based on livewire and this forum..

So you wouldn't believe what happened with me...

For the last 14 days my email has not been working, some problem with my hosting provider.

I have changed all my Application email to my Gmail one. I checked my application online and it just says submitted.

All those who have been interviewed, does it say anything on your application portal ?

I am an intl candidate so hoping nothing has gone out.

Haven't been interviewed, but I have been invited and there is no change on my application page. I'd contact admissions to check.

was oct 20th the only day the sent out invites so far? checking clearadmit and other forums i don't think anyone else got invites on any other day than that...

Hey guys, here is the timeline of 2014 and 2013 for your reference:

Monday Oct 20, 2014: first invites
Tue-Friday Oct 21-24, 2014: almost silence
Monday 27, 2014: large # of invites sent out
Tue-Friday Oct 28-31: some invites
Wed Nov 5,2014: another large #of invites sent out (most international applicants got invites in this batch)
Friday Nov 7, 2014: some invites and ding/waitlist notifications


Friday Oct 25,2013: first invites
Monday-Friday Oct 28- Nov 1 2013: large # of invites sent throughout the week
Monday-Thursday Nov 4-7 2013: complete silence
Friday Nov 8 2013: some invites
Friday Nov 15 2013: some invites and ding/waitlist notifications

Just curious what video hosting site do you guys use? YouTube?
Personally I used Vimeo for Sloan and IMO it's more secure aka only person who has link will see it. The downside is Vimeo will 'suggest' viewer to watch other videos....so if I host another school's essay, it will be listed as suggestion LOL
I ended up have to host another video for Stern on YouTube, however, even it's unlisted, I still get views (from CA) somehow...

Was the LinkedIn view in private mode? I received a view today as well - still waiting on an adcom view of my youtube video, but the analytics on it takes about 48 hours to update so I'm hoping they viewed it today along with my LinkedIn page.

And the unsolicited view on your video could be from a search engine's web crawler

Based on my own experience with graduate recruitment (and from what I've read), my guess is that individual committee members get to review apps at their own leisure and pace (e.g. over the weekend at their local cafe / home / etc.), and when then they sit down together as a group to align on interview invites to ensure there is some loose sense of balance/calibration.
