Were the people that got interviews so far only the joint MSx + MBA applicants?

It seems like they got invites so soon after the "MSx only" deadline that there's still probably hope for many

Pivoted from Public Relations/Marketing, to being and analyst, consultant, market manager, now co-founding my own company. Hi guys, on the application form, we are asked to upload our resume file (in PDF), and also list down all relevant work experiences, extracurricular, awards etc. Should our resume be the summary of the all things that we list down? Or should it include something else, so that one can complement the other, i.e. the things we list down on the application form can complement the information that we provide on the resume file? Any thought on this?

I saw this and thought I would jump in to try and be helpful.

I always advise my clients never to just copy and paste from their resume to their app forms. You can always find a way to make the two content areas sound a bit different and highlight other data points and details. That said, some overlap is of course fine. Your most impactful work and awards can be in both areas, but try to vary the specifics so you are sharing some new information, insights and details when possible.

hi guys, just curious, does anybody mention 'launching your own startup/being an entrepreneur' as a short term goal post MSx? I heard from many MBA consultants that this is not a good idea for MBA application, being an entrepreneur should be our long term instead of short term goal. Thank you

Just completed my MSX interview yesterday. Super nice interviewer. I enjoyed the conversation very much!

Originally scheduled for 45 minutes but went over to one hour. All interview questions were very specific to my application. A very different style to the MBA program (which I interviewed last year). Some questions were challenging but the conversation, in general, was very conversational.

Some questions:

1. Why MSx program and why now
2. Most challenging situation
3. self-intro to the class
4. A time when the team did not perform well
5. Biggest accomplishment
6. many questions about my company's offering and history (at least six questions)
7. You applied to MBA and MSx together, what were your throughs?
8. Challenges in your industry

Hi, thanks for this. I am only interested in applying to MSx, however R2 only allows us to apply for both MSx and MBA at the same time. Since they ask our thoughts on applying for both MSx and MBA together during the interview (assuming we are invited), do you think should I just apply in R3? Or is answering that we only apply to both MSx and MBA because it is the only option available ok? Any thought?

I would suggest applying early. Applying to both MBA and MSx shouldn't be a problem at all. You just need a viable reason for the interview.
