Hey guys, I went to check previous years' forums and found the following: (please correct me if I'm wrong)

1. It seems that interview invitations are emailed within period of time, e.g., in 2019, between Apr 4-11.

2. It also seems that we could check if our application is denied by checking status in the portal (the "in review" would change to something else).

Hope above 2 points are true as I have not received any invitation.


To RRpp, if I may know, on which date did you submit your application?
I'm assessing whether the invitations are sent on "first-send first-invited" basis.

Just completed my MSX interview yesterday. Super nice interviewer. I enjoyed the conversation very much!

Originally scheduled for 45 minutes but went over to one hour. All interview questions were very specific to my application. A very different style to the MBA program (which I interviewed last year). Some questions were challenging but the conversation, in general, was very conversational.

Some questions:

1. Why MSx program and why now
2. Most challenging situation
3. self-intro to the class
4. A time when the team did not perform well
5. Biggest accomplishment
6. many questions about my company's offering and history (at least six questions)
7. You applied to MBA and MSx together, what were your throughs?
8. Challenges in your industry

I think you should expect an invite. I received an interview invite on 11 Nov and my status is still showing as "in review". So, hope for the best :)

Hi, all of the challenging questions were all tailored to my personal/career experiences. So I think they were all very personal. I don't think they ask same questions. One thing to keep in mind is that they know your application very well so they will ask very detailed questions. So I would suggest to be very familiar with your application. Good luck!

Hi guys, it's been a week since the "on or Nov 11".

Has anyone received invitation beyond Nov 11?


Please kindly share if you do, as I'm still waiting as well :)

And all the best to those who are going to have their interview soon!

PS: to those still waiting, I asked adcom when would be the last date for sending the interview invitation, but they could not share this information, which is actually good as it means possibilities are still open.

Hello everyone, hello LKIND!

I am also still waiting for the invitation. The communication with Adcom left me with the same impression that there are still chances for interview invite after 11 November, though difficult to judge how big they are.

Communication with several MSx alumni from my region also suggests that those people got interview invitations very late when they already stopped dreaming to be invited.

So let's hope for the best and prepare to the interview meanwhile, anyway such preparation will not be a waste of time, I believe.
