Guys, this might relieve some of you.

I attended an MBA interview tips sessions with Leland today, and one of the panelists (GSB alum) said that they really try to map you with an interviewer who shares your background/ aspirations. So I think that this might be a reason why you might get an interview later in the window if you submitted a niche post-MBA goal or are from an uncommon pre-MBA background.

Guys I was re reading my application an realized in the "aspiration after graduation from GSB" question I did not fully include my complete career goals but instead my inmediate goal after graduating... do you think this is something bad? I did include my goals in the Essay but still.... I am worried when they read the question they will think it is such a "small" goal.... what do you think?

I think that therr was word limit in it and you would have put it accordingly. The second thing is you can’t change it now. But you can opt to provide new information in the application. In my opinion I wont suggest because it would give an image that your goals are changing and would create unnecessary questions.

i wanted to "provide new info" but i remember the email they sent mentioned explicitly "do not provide new info unless it is exam results"....

I would not worry about it now. If you gave adequate real estate in Essay B to your career interests and that felt full in terms of your full vision, then that is going to be fine. I don't think that brevity on the app form alone would ever sink you:)

The question many years back was "What do you REALLY want to do and Why Stanford?" and I tell my clients to proceed as if that part of the prompt is still there. They don't want to hear just about positions, but rather an interest area driven by passion/purpose and some evidence of committed engagement/research.
