Yes. What I mean is an Indian with a 740 or 760, the score doesn’t have much say in this case.

But for an Indian with a 680-690, the score is definitely a hindrance

You need to be exceptional in some other areas.

It will have some impact in scholarship amount though...this is what I observed considering my fellow admits

And importantly how the adcoms perceived the applicant's candidacy

That part is always unknown/ subjective. So we get biased with the only known objective part - GMAT.

Whats your opinion on international students applying in R3. Decisions are out on May 3.
Is there going to be enough time for applying for a US Visa (Dropbox) ?

Leaving aside the time factor, international students applying in R3 is like gambling with the odds stacked against...almost all the seats are filled at this point and the ones usually seeing success in R3 are domestic candidates or folks with some exceptional stuff in their profile.

The status of my application is still showing as "Submitted." Does it always stay submitted, or does it change to anything else? With only three days left for the decision. I am already considering myself dinged.

No...some ppl might say yes , coz I hv seen ppl trying to boost morale but We have to be practical, Indian and R3-too much of optimism untill unless u hv a profile that tepper would fancy about
