I completed my interview, and it went really well. The interviewer was great, and the questions were quite standard—Why MBA? Why Tuck? Why now? I tried to connect a couple of questions in one of my answers, and it seemed to work, as the interviewer appeared impressed. After each of my responses, he gave positive feedback, which was encouraging.
There was one new question that caught me a bit off guard. He asked me to imagine that I got into Tuck, and it was my graduation day—what would I see as my greatest earning? I took a moment to gather my thoughts and replied:
"Throughout my current journey, both in my team and in life, people have looked up to me. They still do today. On my graduation day, I would want to see that I’ve built a similar reputation at Tuck—that the first-year students of that time look up to me the same way. - I have also connected some past examples of this thing"
I’m not sure if it was the perfect answer, but it felt like the best I could articulate in the moment. Given Tuck’s low interview conversation rate, I’m uncertain about the outcome, but overall, I left the interview feeling good.
