Here is some good information that Admissions gave last year regarding the waitlist, https://mbablogs.anderson.ucla.edu/mba_a ... lines.html. Unfortunately, I don't know exactly what your chances are, but at least when you are waitlisted, you know that the school thinks you are qualified to attend. My guess is there won't be much movement on the waitlist until after the Round 1 acceptance offer deadline. Once the school knows who is accepting their offer and who isn't, they will know who they may want to take off the waitlist. You are also being considered with Round 2 applications, so much depends on the strength of the applications they receive in Round 2. The Waitlist is a tough place to be, I feel your pain, I was waitlisted at another school last year, but at least you are still in the fight. Reflect on you application and think of what some of your weaknesses may have been. Have you been able to address any of those in the past 3 months since applying? Have you taken on any additional responsibilities or have you been promoted at work? Find ways to send meaningful update. Keep you head up and good luck!

Hey buddy what is your Gmat score if you don't mind me asking. Also what is your current total experience. My profile is as per below

Manufacturing Engineer by qualification. Working in a Global IT Giant in Procurement. Completely commercial role. Current experience is 4.5 yrs. GMAT score is 730(Q49 V40)..

Damn felt really strongly about my interview too. Guess for us WLers, to keep chugging along.

Anybody know if R1 WL gets priority over RD2 when they roll those out. I assume it will be more likely its the same class profile balancing act of backgrounds/scores of people who decline to matriculate. I hope for the former tho.

For the R1 WL folks, anyone planning on doing something to up their chances of getting in? Retaking the GMAT, taking classes at night, etc?

Invited to interview! Just got the email at 6:07pm PST (I'm in Florida, its after 9pm here). Quite surprised that they are still sending out invites this late....

Stats to the left. NOT a great GMAT score, below average (but a strong GPA from a nationally recognized school). US military officer. Technical/analytical work experience (hopefully helped offset a 66% quant score). Didn't use consultant.

Late? They've only sent out one round of invites so far. It's been 3 weeks and they just sent out the final R1 decisions.
