Hi everyone!

Is there any international student applied for R3 got admission?

I had my interview in early March and still heard nothing until now. Should I stop looking for positive results at this point?

Any information will be appreciated!

Hi, I am an international applicant. I applied to UIUC around mid Feb.
I haven't heard from the Add Comm since.
I emailed them a couple of times, they said they are still reviewing the application.

Any idea about placement scenario for international students at Illinois MBA?
Considering the H1B visa gamble, how willing are the companies to hire the international students from UIUC?

VoyagerII any insights on this?

I spoke to an international student but all i got was that its difficult for international students (and that its the same across all B schools) but some companies do hire international MBA grads and even sponsor for visa. But what if you don't win the visa lottery?

Anyone has any info on this?

Thank you. There are about 46 students in this Facebook group now. Do you think the adcom will still be giving more admissions for international students at this point?

terumoo: The school has reduced its count to 60 this year and I am assuming that many students have not joined the fb group. So, we really can't say. Although I feel that there must be a few more candidates that will be picked up. Don't give up unless you hear from them.

I am an international applicant, I was interviewed on 29th April. I have not received any updates from Adcom since.

I mailed my interviewer last to last week, they told me results would be disclosed within a week.
Still haven't heard. Anyone in the same boat?

Does the school do a background verification for admitted students with professional services such as Kroll?
