Did anybody have two rounds of interview on skype? First with Rozy and then Serena?? What does this mean - Invited for second interview?

To be honest, that is surprising.When did you apply? I am assuming Round 2 or 3. The University must have received a significant number of applications and having a tough time selecting applicants for the program. That is my best guess.

If I were you, I would count myself lucky as any university would have put you on waitlist and seen how things work out later. UIUC is giving you another opportunity. Make it count and all the best.

I applied in the Round 2 (Dec 1st deadline) and got my offer only a week ago.

14th March is the deadline for me to accept or reject the offer, I had a couple of queries about the process, it would be helpufl if somebody could clarify it.

1. What all documents would the university need by that deadline? Do I have to arrange all the loan amounts as is mentioned for the international students in the form at the site

2. Since I will be taking a loan for the same from mostly Prodigy Finance, does anyone know if there is still enough time for me to get the process started?

No documents are required for accepting or rejecting the offer.Just pay the fees if you have decided to join and the university will reserve a seat for you.

I had applied on October 21 and received my offer on Jan 22. I had time till Feb 15 to accept or reject the offer.After you reserve the seat you will get an email to show proof of finances, so that the university may issue you the i-20 form for your visa.That time you will need to show the documentation and stuff.I have an April deadline for that and I havent started.

I had my interview on 12th Feb with Rozy, and second informal interview with Serena on March 2nd.

The interviewer's name was mentioned the mail i received. However, there is no guarantee that the person mentioned in the mail might take your interview. It could be anyone from the admissions committee. Mostly it'll be Serena or Rozy.
The second interview was more of an advisory session from Serena regarding the possibility of exploring dual degree options.

I did my interview with Rozy today and she was really good to talk to. It was more of a conversation than an interview (I don't know if they are trained to be that way)and we were most of the time enjoying each other's pointers about Illinois!

When should I expect the results? Any idea VoyagerII She didn't mention anything at the end of the interview.

We have a new director of admissions! So, major changes at the adcom, no more mark interviews. I don't know what are the plans for the new admissions director. So, hang in there, hope the changes will be positive for you applicants.

sunrise20: Its been 3 weeks that I have taken the interview and there is no response from the school. When I tried sending 'em an e mail no one replied. I tried calling 'em and again no one replied. Instead, I was asked to leave a voice message.

I am not sure how to check my application status with Admissions Committee.

It's only one person who makes decisions now. i'm sure is under pressure with work...she is in charge of the full time, part-time & executive MBA. So, hang in there.
