Is sending thank you emails after an interview a very common practice? Did i mess up my chances by not sending one? It’s been 10 days since my interview i assume it’s too late to send one now

I have not sent any thankyou mails after interview. If your interviewer shared his mail id. If you want to ask about college or culture, you can write one mail thanking him/her and asking questions. But i doubt they will reject you just because you didn’t drop thank you mail.
