If you don’t want to be on the waitlist, then let Marshall know so that they can remove you and add someone else who is interested to the list. That’s what I think it means. For example, if you got in somewhere else and you are planning to go there, then you should let Marshall know because you wouldn’t go to Marshall even if you got accepted from the waitlist. That’s one possible scenario where the last sentence of that official waitlist scenario could apply.

Guys, my interviewer clearly told me, that decision will be released by 31st, as mentioned in their site as well, so irrespective of many ppl getting their decisions, it is recommended to hold your horses till 31st and breathe peacefully

Guys, my interviewer clearly told me, that decision will be released by 31st, as mentioned in their site as well, so irrespective of many ppl getting their decisions, it is recommended to hold your horses till 31st and breathe peacefully

It will be a difficult wait, but I agree with that.
I received an invitation on November 20th and had my interview on December 12th.
Some of my colleagues received their invitations on December 19th.
(I also received another invitation on this day due to mistake by the admissions committee.)

I believe that those who had later interviews have not yet received their final decisions.
