Nothing. Our waitlist letters say you can expect to hear something shortly after each decision deadline which is next Wednesday 3/23. Best of luck everyone!

This thread is quite silent compared to previous years. Going by last years WL thread, candidates who got off the WL should have received a call by now. Has anyone yet received one? If not we are probably heading for more waiting.

The guidance that we received this year was different. Last year, WLers were admitted right before RD2, this year, they said it would likely happen shortly after each round. I'm hoping that one of us gets lucky in the next couple weeks.

Was it in an official email or session? I was under the impression that wailisted folks get some sort of results along with R2 too

"Shortly after each decision deadline, a waitlist candidate can expect to hear from the committee with either a final admit/deny decision or an invitation to remain on the waitlist." - quote from the original message letting us know that we've been placed on the waitlist.

Correction: it was actually part of the communication that I received after I confirmed that I wanted to stay on the waitlist.

Spot on. Thanks for pointing this out. I don't think I ever realized the meaning of this!!

So apparently all the R2 kids have gotten status updates on their application. I haven't seen an update on mine so I'm guessing that you're right. Let's see what happens.

Going off last year's WL thread it seems that the conversion rate was extremely low. If people have anymore insights, do share!

Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to know the conversion rates. I've heard stats like 10-20% but it's just anecdotal and I wouldn't trust it. I think the main thing is just to ensure that the update you provide (not updates... just do it once) has as much meat to it as possible, and that you really, REALLY reiterate your intention to attend Kellogg if admitted.

Good luck everyone!

1) Has anyone heard anything as to when Kellogg will give an update to R1 waitlisters? I know that they said "soon" after each round's release date, but not sure what they're waiting for now that R2 decisions have been made.
2)Do they ever admit R1 waitlist candidates at this point, or just deny/further waitlist?
3) Any advice on whether it will damage my case if I reach out to them to ask, given a 4/1 deposit deadline to another program? If admitted to Kellogg, would still attend regardless of money sunk on the other deposit.

Thank you if you can answer any of those, and good luck everyone!!

We will get an update this week. I hope they do admit from WL!!
Also I remember from the waitlist email that if you have some deadline somewhere else (like you do) you can reach out to the admission member assigned and follow up.
