as we use Gmail address in the recommendation letter because my recommender lost his position. Will that lead me to a rejection from M7?

I don’t think so, many people asked the same thing during ad events. However, your recommendation will be further reviewed for authenticity. As long as they can verify the info, you are good to proceed. Remember to clarify your reason when you submit the app.

It’s not on you, it’s on Adcom to verify the info. Your job is to state the reason for it. I don’t think you can do further to help that process. Adcom will verify.
