I think the worst part is the wait

Schools need to release invites at once

and then communicate results by portal at once, no stupid phone calls

Oh absolutely. Not sure why they do it the way they do, after what already is a sadistically complicated application process. A friend who went through this last year warned me about the impostor syndrome it will create, and even that warning wasn’t preparation enough.

But honestly, hang in there guys. Things will work out.

But I guess your friend finally received an offer :P

We’re gonna make it guys! If not at Yale, then somewhere else.

I hear that Yale, in particular, sends out interviews to golden candidates early on without even reading their profile (e.g. McKinsey consultant, 750 GMAT, 4.0 GPA, etc)

Right now it’s counterproductive to worry since we can’t do anything to change the outcome. Therefore, we must not worry.

golden candidate means someone who meets only one or two criteria or all (McKinsey/750GMAT/4.0GPA, etc) at the same time?

There is someone above who got an interview with a 710 so I’m not sure about all of that criteria.

(Not saying a 710 is a bad score at all by the way, so please don’t misinterpret that)

I don’t think you can quantify this, I just gave an example. This is all hearsay anyway

From a reddit comment "relax...it’s the same every year...They invite some people with the highest stats (GMAT, Recommendations, GPA, employer) before even reading the application...Bruce even said it in an interview using the 4.0, 750, McKinsey consultant as an example of someone they invite without reading their essay....They’ll send out more invites for at least another couple weeks..."

UNSTOPPABLE12’s answer just one comment above gives all the information about the R2 video assessment question. Hope that helps.

Posted from my mobile device

R2 has ended Im trying to collect all questions people met for future references.[/quote] Normandarin, Did you make a list of all the questions? If so, can you share them in the forum please?

Since we have already started receiving interview invites, I am thinking of doing an Yale interview prep session with a recent Yale admit

How many of you would be interested in such a session?

Please let me know so I can plan it accordingly :)
