But that can’t be the case with Asian applicants, unless they don’t mind calling at midnight

Summon the strength for another 5 hours fellow applicants. I think it will be a same time decision release to everyone and I doubt it will be earlier than 5pm EST.

You are correct about Asian applications. My SOM friend said calls are given in priority of time zone. Asian applicants will hear first and US applicants will hear last. My buddy was a US applicant and thus heard around 2 PM

I guess they will not call admits in this round. Maybe a onetime portal update with email notification

They have edited the application status page

removed the "we are releasing decisions soon" bit, think they might be sending something soon

I was waitlisted in R1 after interviewing and had a link saying "Go to your waitlist page" (for updates to your application). It may mean that you are waitlisted but wait for a decision letter to be sure
