Interesting how Stern does it... this is problematic for date speculation :lol: Usually in the normal world, you get WL folks released a few days after the deposit deadline when you know who is not coming... but rolling dates it is a free for all 🥴

Honestly, I don’t know with this non-standard system and approach how it would work, but for traditional programs, the next round evaluation would include the waitlist candidates so in the case of UNC, their deposit deadline is April 21 and round three decisions come out April 24. During those decisions all round three applicants will hear back as well as everyone who got waitlisted.

7 days ago I uploaded an update letter to Stern via the Waitlist Update Form. However, on my Applicant Status Portal, there is no indication that my form was received. Is something supposed to show up or was I supposed to receive an email acknowledging that the form was received?

When I sent a waitlist update, I received an email acknowledging but my app portal doesn’t show any update.

How long ago was that? It says it should reflect on your portal within 2-3 days, but mine has been over 7 now.

I got the mail within like 10-15 second of submitting the update (I’m guessing it is automated). You should submit again via the waitlist update form and reach out to admissions simultaneously to confirm whether they’ve received it. Let them know that you did not receive a confirmation mail from them.

Yeah I am. Do you know if there are any other deposit deadlines? I know they had one on Thursday.

On ClearAdmit you can see people admitted from the WL all the way through Summer. I'm going to stay on at least until middle of June. It sucks though. I'm basically giving up any chance at decent housing at the other school I was admitted to.

Hi all,

I just got accepted from Stern yesterday and wondering if I need to go to Stern. I am also waiting for CBS J-Term, but was told that J-term students cannot do an internship during the summer. Will that be a huge dis-advantage for international students if my career goal is IB or PE?
