Hi guys, I have a question: For Stern’s application, where can I selecte which round I am applying for? I did not see any drop down for this. Or, is the application based on my submission date? (For example, if I submit before 9/15, I will automatically be considered as a Round 1 applicant)

Also, since Stern reviews on a rolling basis within each round, should I wait until the 1st day of Round 2 instead of submitting now for Round 1? Any thoughts?

I don’t think so.

We can get the number of application in the previous application cycle but that again is for the whole app cycle and round wise.

Stern has 3518 applications for the class of 2021 and

3652 applications for the class of 2022

Since they get more application in Round 1 compared to Rounds 2 and 3, my wild guess is they get around 1500 apps for Round 1

That leaves apprx 2000 apps for Rounds 2 and 3

they have four rounds, Nikhil. and as far as i know, the number of applications this year has decreased so imo R1 should receive fewer apps, right? maybe i’m being too optimistic to calm myself down and be less anxious about the whole thing :P

I mailed them and gave them sufficient eveidence about the financial situation at my home. They were kind enough to accept it and give me a waiver.
