I was a waitlisted applicant and submitted GMAT updates but still got rejected. I think it boils down to why you were rejected and how you would fair against other applicants in the next rounds, which is really hard to figure out. Hence, I believe that chances are low and therefore I would advice to prepare for the worse case and strengthen your profile towards next year’s round.
