Applied in R1. interviewed on 12/12. No results yet. But seems like there are alot of backlog applications from November also.

Thanks a ton for responding and congrats again! The time between your interview and decision was almost 8 weeks - it mustve felt like a very long wait! Safe to say, the rest of us should probably re-set expectations. Previously, the wisdom of the forum was that you hear about 3 weeks after the interview. That's also what my interviewer said at the end of my nterview

If you haven’t hear back in more than 6 weeks I would suggest reaching out or doing an online info session to show your continued desire to go to nyu. I got waitlisted 24 hours after I went to an info session and I think that saved me from getting denied.
