My interview was with someone random. I’m not sure their connection to the school. I know they live 30 minutes away but their LinkedIn doesn’t have UNC. I’ve seen other people that do interviews for UNC and some live across the country. Not an alumni or anything. Why an MBA now? Why UNC? What are your long/short term goals? What is your leadership style? How have you worked in diverse teams? What would your coworkers/teammates say are your strengths? What do the UNC core values mean to you? (integrity, inclusion, innovation and impact) What more do you want to share with me for the adcom? What questions do you have for me? The interview was exactly 30 minutes And my goodbye was cut off, they run a tight schedule.

Is UNC unique in the way they blindly send interview invites to their candidates (an algorithm selects who they interview) then they use a 3rd party to perform the interview ?

I just concluded my interview. It was with an adcom, she was so nice and interesting. I enjoyed her questions. Questions were around: - Tell me about yourself. - Why KF? - Short term and long term goals. - what would be your contribution to KF - Constructive feedback I received from my supervisor - a time I faced an ethical dilemma and how I navigated - What do I do outside work? - what's my biggest motivation - How would an MBA help me achieve that - What would I like KF to remember about me. Key facts - questions for her. I asked 3 questions. She was very nice and wished me the very best in the process. Finger crossed. Posted from my mobile device

@ KEKay , assuming you are in round 2. Did they mention that the results will only be out on 13 March or can we expect anytime sooner

Yes I'm in round 2. I don't think decisions can be released sooner than the stated date. I didn't even think of asking that, cos I felt decision release date are fixed. So we are looking to 13th March. Posted from my mobile device

@ KEKay , fair enough. Since questrom released a week earlier. Was thinking maybe other schools may pounce on the opportunity to release their early. I know until 28th Feb interviews will continue

FYI they use a weird video conferencing app and because I joined right on time it took a few minutes to connect then had issues so my interviewer sent a zoom link but it was short because we started later. My advice is to join a few minutes early just in case v
