Anyone have any advice on what to do it you interviewed over a week ago and your interviewer still hasn't submited anything to Columbia? I already sent a follow up email and I don't want to "spam" the person that is about to have a meaningful say on whether I get admitted or not...should I call admissions and ask them to follow up with the person?

I would send another email to the interviewer. I'm sure he or she is a busy professional who's used to nagging/being nagged through emails. The alumni also remember the urgency with which applicants approach their admissions process, so I wouldn't worry too much about being seen as annoying. Just keep it friendly and mention that you're excited to continue the process and appreciate their help in doing so.

I wouldn't. My report was submitted 2 weeks after the interview even though it was conducted by the admission staff. The problem you have is that you know too much about the process - don't worry, let it go.

Congrats, Griffin! Hope to be joining you soon (I interviewed the day after you did). What was your previous field? How many years of WE? Intended MBA concentration? Thanks!

Congrats, Griffin! Hope to be joining you soon (I interviewed the day after you did). What was your previous field? How many years of WE? Intended MBA concentration? Thanks!

Previous field: corporate development / investment banking
Years of WE: about 1.5 post-grad, but substantial experience during college.
Intended MBA concentration: finance.

I wouldn't worry if you don't hear back today or tomorrow. After looking at these boards, it seems that ~10 days post your interviewer submitting their feedback is average (have seen a few substantially longer than that, some shorter). Not sure why I got such a quick response given my stats, though I do believe I was able to demonstrate a strong interest for wanting to attend CBS (hence, the ED). Doubt there is any correlation between chance of success and turn around -- in fact, it probably takes more time to call to accept someone than send a pre-written ding email.

Best of luck to you and hope to meet next year.

Thanks! Yeah, I've resigned to the fact that I won't hear until at least seven days after the interview. I'm hoping for Monday. Congratulations, again!

Nothing for me either. Submitted 9/23 ED. Just have to be patient, hopefully the invites start rolling in fairly soon.

I think the earlier applicants heard back more quickly because there was less of a backlog. I remember the website saying the standard time is ~4 weeks from submit to interview invite. My guess is with the flood of applications on/near the deadline that the timeline will lean closer to 4 weeks than 2.

I figured as much, but based on last year's thread the invites were going out more regularly and at a quicker pace.
