Nothing for me either. Submitted 9/23 ED. Just have to be patient, hopefully the invites start rolling in fairly soon.

Invites have started rolling. I know atleast one guy who had submitted between 1-3rd Oct and got the invite.
Probably, those who got the invite are too busy bracing themselves for the interview, and those who did not are too emotionally fraught to post here. That leaves us with the only people posting here who got neither. Pretty misleading, I say.
just out of curiosity - is there any last date for the results to come out? do those who do not receive invites within 2 months of applying assume they are rejected by default..
RD guys: check the CBS site but I'm pretty sure that the adcom doesn't even begin reviewing RD apps until December (to allow time to finish ED process). It was explained to me at an information session that, even if an RD applicant submits in July, his application will not be reviewed until all ED apps are processed.
Have any regular decision candidates received interview invites so far?

Dentr0n is right. No matter when you submit your RD application it will not be reviewed until after ED is complete. The website says this will be December and that is what the admissions office told me when I went to an information session in August. Last year I was a RD applicant and submitted on the ED deadline. My app went under review the day or two before Thanksgiving. This year since there is no "Under Review" status update you won't know anything until an interview invite goes out which will most likely not happen until the second week of December, first week at the earliest.
There were 80 pages of posts in the equivalent thread last year... (by this time)

If that means there are lesser applicants this year then its awesome news. If its lesser activity in the forums then too bad. I hope CBS has another 20% fall in applicants this year - that would be a good thing for me from the gloom and doom in wall street.
I'm sorry to hear that as well. I'm sure you'll find success at other schools, your profile sounds very solid. Were you dinged with an interview, or without one?
Your profile (from one of your previous posts) looks pretty solid. There could be something terribly wrong somewhere to ding you.
This doesn't bode well for me...I am from one of the IITs too with a finance background and lots of weaknesses in my application.

I will look on the bright side if I were you. They dinged someone and that wasn't you. Its even better that its a stronger profile. It means that profile stats probably matter that much lesser. I think chances of Indian applicants who are still in the queue just went up a bit.

I hope you are right.
To put the focus back to a post on the previous page of the thread, it does appear that the number of applicants is going to further decline this year.
