Hey everyone, been lurking but haven't posted yet!
Submitted ED on the 2nd of october (hopefully applying on the deadline for early decision doesn't hurt my chances!)
28 years old, 6 years of work experience in pharmaceuticals (my family business) in Hong Kong and London, 660 gmat, 2.12 GPA from Boston University - Never been a good test taker.
I'm re-taking the GMAT next Friday and hope to get something 700 or above. I feel that apart from my GPA and gmat scores, my application is quite strong. I worked extremely hard on my essays and I have clear goals for my family business and how an CBS MBA will help, which I hope I communicated well through the rest of my application.
Unfortunately, one of my recommenders hasn't been able to submit his recommendation yet - but has said he will later today. I've spoke to the AdCom and they've stated that they would look at my new gmat score once I receive my new score (as long as I take it within 6 weeks of my application submission).
If I were by any chance (I know it's improbable/highly unlikely) to find out about receiving an interview prior to taking my gmat, do you think I should still take it?
Good luck to everyone and I'll keep you posted on any updates.
